What should an agricultural mulch-film project confirm?

Assess crop, location, film specifications, equipment and service period alongside field performance and end-of-life conditions.

Agricultural mulch film field observation record

Mulch film must support installation and crop growth while allowing an appropriate treatment route after use. Differences in soil temperature, moisture, sunlight and farm management mean observations from one location cannot be applied directly to another.

Define the project requirements

  • Crop, growing region, season and intended coverage period.
  • Film thickness, width, color, mechanical requirements and laying equipment.
  • Irrigation, soil conditions and subsequent cultivation.
  • Target-market requirements and relevant soil biodegradation test information.

Read field records alongside test reports

Field photographs help describe installation and visible changes in a particular project. Visible fragmentation does not establish complete biodegradation. Material conversion and soil effects require the relevant test methods and results.

Industrial or home composting documents do not replace verification under soil conditions. Green Free Plast can assess material options using project information, film specifications and field trials, without promising a fixed decomposition period for every environment.
